Camp itineraries can and often change due to weather and sea conditions.
Day 1: The camp begins with a pick up at the Palma Airport on the first day and transport back to the Camp house for a group orientation and dinner.
Day 2: We will have a slow start and sleep in after the big travel day before. After breakfast and getting our gear together for the day we will travel to Cala Satiny for our first day on the rock. We will start with some jumping /falling practice and a swim test to see where all the campers are at with their swimming abilities, then climb a little. We will then make a trip to the famous Es Pontas arch Home of Chris Sharma’s 5.15 DWS route, where we will to do some moderate traversing on the arch and get inspired for the rest of the trip. Return to Camp for dinner and free time.
Day 3: Breakfast will be followed by morning warm-up/stretch. We will return to Cala Sanu and go out to the Virgin Wall and Cala Mijuana where we will do our first day of climbing over the open sea vs. a bay. Return to Camp for dinner and free time.
Day 4: Breakfast will be followed by morning warm-up/stretch Today we will travel to one of my favorite DWS areas of the trip, Cala Barques has 3 different caves. We will work on harder routes and find some good projects. There are also a few slack lines on the beach to play on. Return to Camp for dinner and free time.
Day 5: Breakfast at will be followed by morning warm-up/stretch. Today will be our first rest day of the trip. We will drive to the northern part of the island to the most authentic town in Mallorca “ ….” Our focus will be to see some of the histories of the island. We can do some gift shopping and enjoy a classic Majorcan lunch. Return to camp for dinner and free time.
Day 6: Breakfast at will be followed by morning warm-up/stretch. Today we will travel to the Lighthouse wall which lies under the Porto Colom Lighthouse. We start the day off with an adventurous hike along the limestone shore on a shelf 10m ft above the sea. This is a fun cave with traverses and steeper climbing.
Day7: Breakfast at will be followed by morning warm-up/stretch. Today we will travel to the west side of the island and (weather permitting) see the island from the sea via boat. We will explore a few different bays and climbing venues on the west side. We will finish the day with dinner out in the town of Porto Soller.
Day 8: Breakfast at will be followed by morning warm-up/stretch. This will be our second rest day of the trip and we will be relaxing on one of the beaches on the east coast near Porto Colom. Return home for dinner.
Day 9: Breakfast at will be followed by morning warm-up/stretch. We will return to the world-class Cala Barques and climb in the “Cova wall” This is a wild wall with dripping stalactites. There are moderate and hard top out as well as a super classic “Mite of the Stalactites traverse”
Day 10: This our last day at the camp we will have breakfast and a camp debrief. Possibly we will go on a city tour in Palma. Then campers will return to Palma to fly back home.
