A Mediterranean Paradise

Mallorca (also known in english as Majorca), is on of the the Balearic Islands. It is known as one of the most beautiful and exotic Spanish islands with amazing climate typical of  the Mediterranean is a paradise for the tourist that seeks to enjoy a vacation full of sun, beach and parties. The capital Palma, is also the capital of the community of the Balearic Islands and is where you will begin your trip with Mallorca Climbing Camps.

The Island has two mountainous regions each about 30 miles long. These occupy the north-western Tramuntana range and eastern thirds of the island. The highest peak on Majorca is Puig Major (1,445 m) in the Serra de Tramuntana. The northeast coast comprises two bays: the Badia de Pollença and the larger Badia d’Alcúdia. The northern coast is rugged and has many cliffs. The central zone extending from Palma is generally flat fertile plain known as Es Pla.

Mallorca of Majorca it home to many olive trees and wine vineyards.  She olive oil produced there is toted as some of the best in the world.  Food is top notch with it trending toward Spanish tapas and  sea food being the best options.  The island has a long history of being fought over for many years including during the time of the Moors. There are numerous castels and ruins through out the island.

As a top European resort Mallorca offers world class nightlife as well.

The majority of the rope climbing is in the northern mountain ranges, and the best of the Deep Water Soloing is in the south eastern parts of the Island. Although there are rocks all over the island both above the sea an inland.
