This is that unique camp which will give the teenager the experience of traveling to a foreign country, experiencing a different culture and learning how to safely partake in the newest and freest form of rock climbing, deep water soloing and bouldering.

The camps are based on the Spanish island of Mallorca about 100 Kilometers south east of the coastal city of Barcelona, in the Mediterranean Sea.   The DWS climbing areas are mostly along the SE coast in the more arid part of the island.  We stay in a classic Majorcan casa, a short drive from the coast and the nearest towns of Cala De Or, Porto Cristo, and Satiny. Spain as you may know is the rock climbing capital of Europe and Mallorce is all limestone.
The focus of the camps is to safely introduce the campers to the art of Deep Water Soloing and Bouldering.

The sport of Deep Water Soloing/ DWS (or “phycoblock” as the Spanish call it. It means mental bouldering) has exploded in popularity in the past few years with climbers traveling to exotic places like Thailand, Malta and Mallorca to climb freely with out ropes over warm water.

The camp is for young men and women ages 13-18 who have previous climbing experience and are looking to increase their climbing skills. Due to the steep nature of the limestone cliffs on the Mediterranean Sea the campers must be comfortable top roping 5.9-5.10b or French 5-6a+.  They must also be competent swimmers able to swim up to 100 meters.

Does not include: Personal climbing gear, (Shoes and chalk bags and a some hard where is needed). Air fare to Mallorca (Palma De Mallorca is the Air port), guide gratuities, personal spending money.
